Gilda Odera

Dr. Gilda Odera is a visionary leader with over 30 years of executive experience across marketing, ICT, and the public sector. She currently serves as Vice Chair and Commissioner at the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC), where she provides strategic leadership in reviewing and setting pay structures across Kenya’s public sector.

Throughout her career, Dr. Odera has held influential roles, including Managing Director of Skyweb Technologies and Founder of All About Marketing Ltd (now ThinkNCreate). She has served on numerous national boards and played a pivotal role as founding Chairperson of the Kenya Business Process Outsourcing Association, where her advocacy contributed to shaping Kenya’s ICT policy and securing World Bank funding for East Africa’s first fiber optic cable.

In 2023, she made history as the first elected female National President of the Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) in its 65-year history. Dr. Odera holds a PhD in Public Policy and Administration, an MA in Leading Innovation and Change, and a BA in Sociology, alongside executive training from Harvard Business School.
